ID: VM - 203 - Fast Guns Location: Persian Gulf, Onboard Enterprise Time: 0345 hrs Conditions: Clear Destination: Al Blumir Lab Primary Objective: SEAD Secondary Objective: Kill Migs, Protect Hornet Three and Four Waypoint 0: Enterprise Final Approach Waypoint 1: Al Blumir Lab (73.9 nm) Waypoint 2: USMC Assault Craft Waypoint 3: Start location Enterprise Recover at: Enterprise Hornet Two Loadout: 3 x Fuel, AGM65, 4 x AIM-9, 2 x AMRAAM Hornet Three Loadout: Fuel, 4 x MK83LD, 2 x AIM-9 Hornet Four Loadout: Fuel, 4 x MK83LD, 2 x AIM-9   You and Hornet Two are to launch from the Enterprise and eliminate any SAM threats along your flight path to the Al Blumir Lab. You are to clear a path for Hornet Three and Hornet Four who will launch 1 minute behind you. Take off behind Hornet Two and follow him at 340KIAS and 15,000 feet AGL. He will drop to low level before he enters enemy airspace so keep an eye on him about 15 nm out from Waypoint 1. Push it up to 420KIAS as you drop with him then attack SAM and AAA threats. Your primary mission is SEAD, target any SAM or AAA sites that threaten the flight. Your secondary mission is to kill any Migs who may intercept the flight. Hornet Three and Four have been ordered to hit the Al Blumir Lab with MK83LD bombs. They will then target any Migs in the area.     There are reports of a Mi-24 Hind scouting in the vicinity of the lab. Intelligence reports indicate that the SAM crews in this part of enemy territory are not very experienced. They may shoot at any aircraft in the area, USN or IQAAF. Stay low and kill the SAMs from BVR. Hornet Two will target the southernmost AAA site at the Al Blumir Lab. There are two F-16 "Vipers" on alert at Safwan Airbase in Kuwait. They will launch if you approach it. Do not linger over the target area. Return to the Enterprise asap as the IQAAF may vector more aircraft to the region.
